The Professional Development Institutes are a series of workshops sponsored by OCPA designed to provide professional development opportunities throughout the year for members of OCPA.

The COVID Corner will provide monthly asynchronous opportunities to build your trauma stewardship crafted by Jivanto van Hemert and Leah Ward, members of the Housing & Residence Life team at the University of Dayton. They have both found great knowledge and space for reflection in Laura van Dernoot Lipsky’s Trauma Stewardship (2009) which will be the foundation for their work, "COVID Corner", moving forward. As educators, we bring our whole selves to work, and conversely, work often comes home with us. This year’s conference hopes to engage participants through keynote addresses, program sessions, and conversations about successfully integrating more balance within our lives.

Additionally, we are excited to welcome colleagues from the Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA) to join us for our 2020 Annual Conference. ASCA members are encouraged to share their expertise and network with other higher education professionals. We hope to use this inaugural year of partnership to guide future connections with area-specific organizations diversifying our education offerings.

Late Fees

A $25 late fee will be cahrged to any person that registers for the Annual Conference after Friday, December 6, 2019.

**An additional $25 late fee will be charged to any person that registers for the Annual Conference on site on either Thursday, January 30, or Friday, January 31.**

Please note - no refunds are available for conference registrations. The only exception to this is in the event of a Level Three Snow Emergency that requires the cancellation of the annual conference.

Silent Auction Donations

The Silent Auction is your opportunity to give back. All money raised by the Silent Auction is donated as scholarships to undergraduate and gradaute students intersted in our field! If you have items that could showcase your campus or greater community such as tickets to an event, a piece of artwork, books, or a gift basket, please consider making a donation to the Silent Auction.

If you are able to make a donation, please contact Allison Riggle for inquiries and next steps, or simply bring your item to the conference. Thank you in advance for helping award scholarships for our undergraduate and graduate students interseted in Higher Education.
